What we store
Your check-ins, journal entries, coach conversations, profile (sport, stage, goals), and wellbeing scores. Nothing more than the app needs to personalize your experience.
What we never do
We never sell your data. We never share your conversations with coaches, schools, teams, parents, or sponsors. We never use your private words to train public AI models.
Take it with you
One click in Settings downloads everything we have on you as a single JSON file.
Wipe it
One click in Settings permanently deletes your account, login, conversations, journal, and check-ins. We don't keep backups beyond standard disaster-recovery windows.
Crisis & safety
Copingstar is an AI coaching companion. It is not a therapist, clinician, or emergency service. If you're in danger, please contact 988 (US), Samaritans 116 123 (UK/ROI), 112 (EU), or your local emergency number. A "Get help now" button is visible at all times inside the app.
AI providers
Coach replies are generated by large language models routed through our gateway. Prompts include the minimum profile context needed to personalize replies. We do not pass your name, contact info, or account identifiers to model providers.
Minors
If you're under 18, please use Copingstar with a parent or guardian aware. You can mark yourself as a minor in Settings — we'll soften nudges and surface human support more readily.
